For the past month jazz has been muttering something that sounds like a question so i have been thinking about the questions i ask him daily. Well never have figured it out until my step daughter was over. She was sitting in another room and i was outside. When i came in she said my bird was freaking her out. She said he kept saying "Good baby jazz" in my husbands voice over and over. Well i never made it out and right when i said that he said it as clear as could be. I had my husband say it and yes jazz says it exactly like he does. He is a broken record with this phrase right now but he will not say it with my husband around!
His other new "word" is 'OOPH" Whenever he stumbles on my shoulder or drops something he makes this sound. I love it!! What a silly boy!~!

What a smart bird you have! That is so neat!

You can try to teach them new words till the cows come home and they won't say them. Then, out of the blue, they repeat things they hear daily. Boca does that all the time.
