Squash and Sweet Potatoe Cubes Cooked sweet potatoes and butternut squash mashed together. To that I add cinnamon, peanut butter (just enough to thicken it some) dried organic berries and pine nuts.
Here's the beauty of this recipe; I spoon the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze it. Once frozen solid, I empty them into a ziploc baggie and store in the freezer.
Remove a cube or two, defrost in the microwave and serve warm to happy fids! |
