Sorry, didn't see a place a post for WANTED items so I thought I would post it here cause people want to get rid of stuff here...

Sooooooooo I am looking for people who are spring cleaning and want to get rid of bird books and magazines. This is for several reasons... We like to have books to show people stuff: info on species, what birds look like, what cages look like, good stuff to feed etc... and both books and magazines have that stuff.

I know many bird people who have collected stuff over the years and when it comes time to clean up- they don't want to throw the stuff out- but don't want to keep it.

We are going to be starting a bird club when we move and will have our rescue building so we want to have a wonderful library in place when we do that...

Soooo anyone have any books they want to get rid of ? Magazines? I don't even know what to say I could pay for them... donated would be SUPER While I am on Long Island, we get to NJ, upstate NY CT etc.... I also have friends in Florida (tampa area) and all over the place who could keep them for me till I can get them....

I posted it on craigslist once and got a bunch (REALLY NEAT !! Some of them are from the authors of a few of them, kinda neat.. )

Anyway.. anyone getting rid of books or magazines that are bird related?

Oh jeeez.... 2 weeks ago I gave 8 books to the library. All parrot specific too. I didnt think anyone here would be interested! Now I know better.

sorry I never responded to this.. that was rude of me... I wish I had posted sooner... errrrrrrrrrrr LOL. BUT should you house clean again... (hint hint) I would love them. In addition to our rescue building we are building, we are going to have an educational area. We will have all kinds of stuff and any informational materials are welcome !!
