Default Winston's Bio on All about Budgies

I really enjoyed Sarah's story about Winston the English Budgie. Winston – adult, rehomed English/Show Budgie

It is good to know that you can get an older bird & enjoy him as much as any baby.

- even one who has never been free-flighted or is not tame. Seeing him bathing/drinking at the sink, in your hands - was too cute. Drinks from the faucet - VIDEO

...or talking up a storm - all those Jerry & Winston videos - I'm so impressed. Winston my little sweetheart **video**

If I had the choice of doing things over I'd get Winston all over again. He is very unique and special to me, and he's taught me so much. It's been a long journey with him, but well worth it.

He's been landing on my head more recently, he hasn't done much hair surfing in the past. It's a different feeling that Jerry standing on my head because Winston sort of presses his whole body against my head. I can definitely tell that it's a Big budgie on my head vs. a Small budgie.

What a wonderful story. I, too, love the fact that you got an older budgie and were able to train and bond with it. There is something very special about an English budgie.
