Default Help!!!

I just found an itty bitty bunny rabbit being batted around in the yard by my lanlords cat. Its so small, it fits in the palm of my hand.... Its really beat up. Can kinda hop a bit, but parts of him looks like the skin is ripping off his body. Hes in a box outside, but what should I do? Should I bring him in and clean him up and hope he makes it? is there a risk of disease to the birds? I have a rabbit, can I try giving it some of his food? I'm gonna go get some pics'

I dont know Josh. Get it out of the sun, and put water in the box. Try to get Arty! If you bring it in keep it in your bathroom and close the door.

Oh my goodness - poor baby! I don't know anything about rabbits, sorry! But I do hope that he will be ok. What a cute little one.

He probably in shock Josh. That side wound is bad. Theres no wild life places up there? Keep him cool, and try to get water in him. He's big enough to hang on without mom, but that wound is bad.

I've made a few phone calls, but noone that has answered or actually had any clue what to do.... He appears to be sleeping and did drink a little water.

I would think if you could try to irrigate the wound with saline, flap the skin back down over the wound and wrap it up, it might heal. If he can make it through the night he should be ok. Shock and over heating is the biggest worry for. And dehydration. If you have lettuce or shredded carrot that will help to get fluid in him. Do you have Arty's phone number?

I think a hawk had it and dropped it. They usually rip the rear out and go for the intestines. Ive seen the remains many times. You have a lot on your hands with this little one JOSH.
